Martijn Dendievel wins Conductors' Academy led by Paavo Järvi

In Switzerland, Martijn Dendievel won the first four-day Conductors' Academy on May 12, 2021 Conductors' Academy led by Paavo Järvi. Hopefully we'll get to be a fly on the wall this summer and watch and listen as Martijn takes a masterclass in Estonia with the maestro.

Martijn received in 2020, just before the lockdown, the Golden Label Debut award for his first conducting performance at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, where he conducted the Flemish Symphony Orchestra with an unforgettable Schubert.

Hopefully this Golden Label award will still be presented at some public occasion. Because so far, the corona mess has decided otherwise…
