Romeo and Juliet Still Captivate
It was Shakespeare who, in the 16th century, struck his readers to the core with the tale of the tragic fate of two young lovers. The worlds of opera and ballet eagerly took it up, and composers such as Prokofiev, Tchaikovsky, Berlioz, Gounod, Frederick Delius and Nino Rota were inspired by it.

ARTONOV FESTIVAL
