KBR acquires 280,000 records and CDs from Médiathèque Nouvelle

The Royal Library of Belgium suddenly acquired one of the country's largest record collections. Following the closure of Médiathèque Nouvelle at the end of June, the non-profit organization donated its complete heritage music collection to KBR: almost 280,000 carriers, from post-war vinyl records to CDs from the beginning of this century. On Thursday, September 3, 2026, the first boxes were unpacked in Brussels.
