Since its establishment more than twenty-five years ago, the chamber choir Accentus has dedicated itself heart and soul to the a capella repertoire: under the direction of its conductor and founder Laurence Equilbey, it has released an impressive discography that sets the standard in this music.
For this new recording, the first for Alpha, she hands over the leadership of the ensemble to Christophe Grapperon, the associate conductor since 2013: 'It can never be said too often: the a capella repertoire is a Holy Grail of vocal music!
