The Coudenberg Sound Box Fest is much more than a music festival. It aims to reconnect its audience with Belgium's archaeological, historical and artistic heritage, by bringing the remains of the Coudenberg Palace into dialogue with the eclecticism and dynamism of the present.
From ancient music from the 14th century to contemporary compositions. We pass through baroque, jazz, folk and electronic music, whereby the subtle and invisible connections between these different styles will be revealed, by internationally renowned musicians from the Wallonia-Brussels Federation.
The concerts follow an underground route, allowing the audience to discover the rich acoustics of the different rooms of the Coudenberg Palace while visiting the historic spaces. With a multistylistic approach, the CSBF promises to bring together heritage and music lovers, anyone curious and seeking a unique, visual and musical experience between past and present.
