"Beautiful world, where have you gone?" These words by Friedrich Schiller open this new project, an exploration of existence, wandering, and grief. Coline Dutilleul has curated a program in which keyboard works by Johann Sebastian Bach and songs by Franz Schubert resonate with themes such as melancholy and death: inner states that music makes tangible through tempo, texture, and harmony. These works sketch a journey marked by absence and resilience, in which restlessness, renunciation, and solace succeed one another like the stages of mourning.
