With "Il Vento Non Scritto," Zofia Neugebauer releases her debut album on Berlin Classics, featuring Mozart's flute concertos and two newly composed cadenzas by her. She is accompanied on the recordings by the Folkwang Chamber Orchestra Essen under the direction of Johannes Klumpp.
Zofia Neugebauer is a flutist born in Poland. She attended the Karol Szymanowski School of Music in Wrocław and studied at the Academy of Music in Basel, which she interrupted when she became a member of the Karajan Academy of the Berlin Philharmonic (2017 to 2019). She has performed as principal flute with the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra and the Basel Symphony Orchestra and regularly performs as a soloist with orchestras such as the Gürzenich Orchestra, the Camerata Zurich, and the Verbier Festival Orchestra.
