On the occasion of his 60th birthday, French horn player Herve Joulain presents works by composers – mostly in world premiere recordings – some of whom have personally dedicated these works to him. To be a musician of your time in the truest sense of the word, you must be in contact with composers and their works of today. This means dedicating yourself to works that need to be created and promoted, engaging in dialogue with composers, inspiring them through your talent to create new works, exploring the possibilities of your instrument, and encouraging the musician to venture down bold and uncharted paths. This is realized here in an exemplary way!
