The world premiere recording of a major work by Georg Friedrich Haas, one of the world's most renowned living composers: Violin Concerto No. 2 was composed in 2017 for Miranda Cuckson, with whom the composer has long collaborated. It premiered that same year with the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra conducted by Ilan Volkov. This recording features Miranda's live performance of Haas's Violin Concerto No. 2 from November 24, 2023 at the legendary Wiener Musikverein with the ORF Symphony Orchestra conducted by Markus Poschner. It is complemented by her recording of terrae fine for solo violin.
