The Aglica Trio was founded in 2017 at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London and impresses with an unconventional lineup: Carys Gittins on flute, Agnieszka Żyniewicz on viola, and Lise Vandersmissen on harp. In January 2024, the ensemble won the Belgian Supernova chamber music competition, which garnered significant media attention and numerous concert engagements, including a performance at the prestigious BOZAR in Brussels. The recording featuring works by Hilary Tann, Francisco Fontes, and Claude Debussy is now available on CD.
