The Dallas Symphony Orchestra and its music director Fabio Luisi present a groundbreaking live recording of Richard Wagner's "The Ring of the Nibelungs," made in 2024 during various concerts at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas. This historic project, a rare undertaking for an American orchestra, will be released in 2026, the Dallas Symphony Orchestra's 125th anniversary season, exactly 150 years after the premiere of the complete "Ring" cycle at the Bayreuth Festival in 1876.

Recorded by GRAMMY® winner Dirk Sobotka, it marks the beginning of a new collaboration between Delos and the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. "The Ring cycle is one of the most profound and complex musical works ever written … By the end of the entire story, you are transformed," says Maestro Luisi.
