One June 2024 is for twelve young violinists, who fought stress for weeks and presented the best they could offer to full halls, radio, TV and websites like Klassiek Centraal where they perhaps once dreamed as a small girl or small boy, with a quarter violin: to become laureate or even winner of a major violin competition. There is always only one who may and can win. Although there are always several winners, not in ranking, but in ability. Oh yes, is it easy to comment? Yes, right? But try standing on that stage…
For those who can't get enough and want to review everything at home, you can do so on the KEW website. You can order a special cd-box of the entire competition via this special offer "Violin Duo 2024".
If you order the 4CD-box "Violin 2024" together with the special edition "4CD / Violin 2009 - 2012", a selection of mostly unreleased recordings by Ray Chen, Lorenzo Gatto, Vineta Sareika and Andrey Baranov, you will receive an extra CD dedicated to Júlia Pusker, Laureate in 2019. For every order placed before midnight Sunday 2 June 2024, an extra discount applies and no shipping costs will be charged.
