Following the sudden death of Pierre Audi (read here), the key partners, teams and artists of Fes-val have mobilised. They are working hard to prepare and present the 2025 edition of Fes-val the way Audi would have wished.
Fes-val (better known as the Aix-en-Provence Festival) aims to honour Pierre Audi's artistic vision and commitment by achieving the greatest possible reach in line with his working methods. The French State, the city of Aix-en-Provence, the Métropole Aix-Marseille-Provence, the Bouches-du-Rhône department and the Région Sud (PACA) have, in consultation with Fes-val chairman Paul Hermelin, confirmed their trust in the Fes-val teams. Bernard Foccroulle, who led Fes-val from 2007 to 2018, has been appointed as adviser for the 2025 edition to support and guide the organisation on artistic and administrative matters.
