OltremareNouveau

With Oltremare, acclaimed harpist Danielle Riegel offers a deeply personal tribute to the music of Ludovico Einaudi, reimagining some of his most beloved works through the intimate voice of the Celtic harp. Inspired by the vastness of the Atlantic Ocean and a shared artistic journey toward simplicity, presence, and emotional honesty, Riegel transforms Einaudi’s timeless melodies into luminous, meditative soundscapes that invite reflection and deep listening. From the flowing waves of the title work Oltremare to the quiet beauty of Nuvole Bianche, I Giorni, and selections from Einaudi’s album 'Underwater', this recording explores music as a space of connection - between performer and listener, nature and emotion, stillness and imagination. Spacious, organic, and profoundly expressive, Oltremare is an immersive listening experience that carries familiar music beyond the horizon, revealing new colours, depth, and serenity.
