Musica Mundi in Concert
Saturday 12 December 2026, 20:00
Kamermuziek
On Saturday 12 December 2026 we welcome the young talents of the Musica Mundi School to the historic Onze-Lieve-Vrouw-over-de-Dijlekerk in Mechelen.
The Musica Mundi School in Waterloo brings together exceptionally talented young musicians aged 10 to 18 from various parts of the world.
They receive an intensive professional musical training, combined with a full academic education.
Musica Mundi is founded on the conviction that music can connect people. Young talents from different countries and cultures study and make music together there, listen to one another and learn from each other. Chamber music plays a central role in this.
On 12 December, these young talents will perform chamber music works and solo works from the great classical repertoire in Mechelen.
A unique opportunity to see and hear the classical top musicians of tomorrow at work today, in the beautiful setting of one of the most stunning churches in Mechelen.
The proceeds of this evening go entirely to the social causes of Rotary Club Mechelen Opsinjoor.
By attending, you not only enjoy an exceptional musical evening, but also contribute to the social projects our club supports.
