The French lutenist Florent Marie presents his second solo album on Carpe Diem Records: a collection of Renaissance lute music by the famous John Dowland. This album was recorded in a small church in the Normandy countryside and contains both melancholic and rousing compositions by the great English lute master. It is an emotional and colorful interpretation of these largely well-known and beloved pieces.
