The music of Dutch pianist and composer Joep Beving is characterized by tranquility, reduction, simplicity and honest emotions. He succeeds in reaching a worldwide audience with minimalist piano music that transcends trends and genres. His compositions leave room to breathe and are not intended to overwhelm his listeners, but rather to move them. Pianist Michael van Krücker's selection is a cross-section of Beving's work between 2015 and 2022.
