The always curious musicians of the Voce Quartet were once again looking for new horizons and fell in love with the music of this Latin American country during their concert tours through Argentina. In Buenos Aires and Rosario they regularly visited traditional folk music and dance venues, peñas and milongas as they are called, and had exciting sessions with the renowned Dino Saluzzi ... Ultimately they decided to ask the composers Fernando Fiszbein, Gabriel Sivak and Jean-Baptiste Henry to write music and arrangements for the Voce Quartet. They play these pieces together with the great Argentine guitarist Pablo Márquez and Jean-Baptiste Henry on the bandoneon.
